It is a highly controversial issue whether the youth should follow traditions or have the freedom to be (or do what they want) what they want. This essay shall look into both sides of the debate before forming an opinion. (Not necessary to say this).

There are a number of reasons to support the idea that young adults should follow the traditions of their society. Firstly , the young people have the responsibility to maintain their cultural values. If young people follow social traditions in many activities which are different between cultures, such as marriage and funeral.(1) For example, they will understand and conserve their heritage. Secondly, another reason for people's opinion is that the youth has been neglecting its own very rich culture and traditions in order to adapt to the other ideas. They think that their centuries-old traditions are out of date and prevent modern development.

On the other hands, it is easy to comprehend why some people are in favour of letting the youth have their own individuality. Specifically, young people should freely express themselves in many aspects of life, and social traditions should be no expectation. Hence, every generation has had a way to make their own mark in history, the young adults of this day and age also deserve (spelling) the chance to make use of their energy and youth, instead of being many new things are established by them. (The sentence doesn't make sense) In additional, the youth of today are borrowing methods from one country to the others. Research has shown that the beautiful traditions of the west, such as the are celebration of Mother's day and Father's day are being celebrated in India. Subsequently, young people want to explore new cultural norms, by being free and not having to follow outdated customs.

To sum up, while it is apparent that the young be selective in choosing the social traditions that they want to live by, it is undeniable that they should be free and behave the way they want to, should be supported.

(1) I don't know what you want to say here. The structure should be: If _________, then ______.

You should not add a space before a comma or full stop (period).

I would avoid phrases like "This essay shall look into both sides of the debate before forming an opinion." It is not necessary and has no meaning.
