Sports play a vital role in maintaining a person's body shape. A few sports, such as boxing and wrestling, often cause severe injuries, for instance, breaking the nose and these types of incidents frequently occur while playing these games. A group of people argue that bloody sports should be banned and not be encouraged to be played in the modern age. In my perspective, sports which cause physical injuries intentionally should be not promoted in our society instead of that, games, such as cricket: which also known as a gentlemen game, should be promoted globally.
According to the latest survey, conducted by Fudan university illustrates that 95 percent boxer, who got seriously injured while playing this bloody sport, advised public not to play this game, instead play other games, for example, football, table tennis, and cricket. These people stated that although boxing and wrestling are two exciting games and people love to watch players hitting each other; however, at the end of the day, only 85 percent players have normal lives while others are disabled or in the hospital fighting for their lives.
We should encourage our children to play sports, such as cricket, hockey, and football even though while playing these sports, they may also get injured. However, it is not caused intentionally. Furthermore, the number of people who get injured while playing boxing and wrestling is far more than other sports, so comparing injuries caused by boxing and cricket will not be appropriate because one is caused intentionally whereas other is unintentional.
In conclusion, sports make our body stronger and healthier. However, bloody sport should not be supported at any cost as it causes physical injuries, resulting in making people handicapped. On the other hand, sports like cricket and table tennis should be promoted.
