Hi

For past tense we use ran. Run is present tense format. You can frame the sentence in two ways:-

  1. The water was running from the tap (past continuous tense)
  2. The water ran from the tap. (past perfect tense)

Hope this helps.

Hi Daniele, Here is what I have found for you: John Proctor's character changes from the beginning of The Crucible to the end in that he is initially reluctant to accept blame for his unfaithfulness to Elizabeth and his affair with Abigail but is, in the end, willing to do anything to save Elizabeth, including confessing to his adultery.

Hi Amia!

I'm sure that if you spoke to your tutor about this that they would be happy teach you over Zoom.

However, the tools of the Preply classroom are more suited to teaching English than that of Zoom. So you might gain more benefit from being taught on the Preply classroom instead of Zoom, because of the variety and volume of exercises that the classroom already has available.

I'd suggest speaking to your tutor to come up with a solution that works for both of you!

Kind regards, Keya
