Hello!
Great question! Since humor is an uncountable noun, there is no article used with humor when referring to it generally. For example, I don't like his humor and never laugh when he makes jokes.
However, if you want to be more specific, you can use the article the. Example: The humor he displayed at the conference was inappropriate.
Hope this helps!

A big door stood open at the side of the room, didn't it?
A tag question (UK English, question tag) is a construction in which an interrogative fragment is added to a declarative or an imperative clause. The resulting speech act comprises an assertion paired with a request for confirmation. For instance, the English tag question "You're John, aren't you?" consists of the declarative clause "You're John" and the interrogative tag "aren't you?"

Hello
The reason is that "tell" is an irregular verb.
So tell becomes told in the past tense .
With irregular verbs we do not add the suffix "ed" to make the verb a past tense verb.
The reason why there is a difference has to do with the origins of the word.

Adverbial clauses are a category of subordinating clauses. They are linked to a main clause and tell us something about the information in that main clause. Here the adverbial clause is giving us more information related to the main clause. They designed the new product (main clause) with regard to the old design’s flaws (adverbial clause)
