Recognised English Language Schools
Association of Ireland
MEI-RELSA is the approved body for marketing, quality and standards of English language learning in Ireland. The organisation is a merger between two previously separate bodies: Marketing English in Ireland (MEI) and the Recognised English Language Schools Association (RELSA).
The member schools of MEI-RELSA are all recognised by the Irish Department of Education as English language schools for the teaching of English as a foreign language, and as such comply with the stringent requirements of this body in relation to teachers, courses and school premises.

 ACELS (Advisory Council for English Language Schools) is the official body set up by the Irish government's Department of Education to be responsible for implementing the recognition scheme and for regular monitoring and inspection of schools.
