The Trial Lesson is one hour long, as set by Preply.
After the Trial Lesson, you can discuss and agree on the length of lessons with your tutor.
Preply says: "Students can only book 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons"

I think that in the past students were able to schedule lessons of length different from 1 hour, but it is apparently not possible now.
Tutors are able to schedule lessons of various lengths. I (a tutor) was easily able to do that myself once. When I did it, I was given the ability to select a start time and a finish time.
